General Guidelines

  • Product must be stored in the freezer at or below (0° F) until ready to use.
  • This product is only suitable for consumption after cooking; follow the cooking instructions below. Do not eat or serve raw.
  • After defrosting, the product must be stored in the refrigerator for no longer than 48 hours before cooking. DO NOT REFREEZE.

Cooking Instructions

 Before using, defrost under refrigeration, for 8 hours.

IN A SAUTÉ OR FRYING PAN:

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat.
Pan-sear the steak for 3 minutes per side (12 minutes total), turning to ensure even browning.

The steak is ready when the internal temperature at the center reaches 72°C.
Remove from heat and serve hot.

Before serving, we recommend:

  • Slicing the steak along the grain into ½ in.–thick slices
  • Seasoning with coarse salt, crushed black pepper, and olive oil 

ON A GRILL:

Preheat the grill to high heat.
Grill the steak for 8 minutes, turning several times to ensure even browning.

The steak is ready when the internal temperature at the center reaches 162° F.
Remove from the grill and serve hot.

Before serving, we recommend:

  • Slicing the steak along the grain into ½ in.–thick slices
  • Seasoning with coarse salt, crushed black pepper, and olive oil

 

IN A COMBI-STEAMER:

Select the program: 390° F | 15% humidity | Fan 4 | 15 minutes.
Place the flank steak on a baking tray with 2 tablespoons of oil and roast. Season to taste.

The steak is ready when the internal temperature at the center reaches 162° F.
Remove from heat and serve hot.

Before serving, we recommend:

  • Slicing the steak along the grain into ½ in.–thick slices
  • Seasoning with coarse salt, crushed black pepper, and olive oil
